When advisors and clients were asked: How much does your planner know about your values? About your personal needs and priorities? How frequently do they reconnect with you and ask you about how things have changed and how that may have changed your priorities? What do they know about these qualitative parts of the relationship? Across the board, with all of these different factors…it was a pretty big gap between the client’s perspectives and the advisor’s perspectives.
