Using the Progress Principle to Better Serve Your Clients

This webinar is an MQ Research & Education sponsored event.

1.0 CFP CE accepted by the CFP Board.

About the Webinar:

Researchers Teresa Amabile and Steven Kramer collaborated on an examination of what sets the best managers above the rest. They documented their findings in their book The Progress Principle: Using Small Wins to Ignite Joy, Engagement, and Creativity at Work. Even though written in the context of the work environment, Amabile and Kramer’s concepts about making progress, providing catalysts for progress, and nourishing progress also apply to helping clients make improvements in their financial lives.

In addition to summarizing each of the Progress Principle concepts, presenter Thom Allison, CFP® will dive into the emotions involved and will demonstrate how to keep clients positively motivated. Thom will also provide tools and exercises that planners can immediately put to use in their work with clients.
